Having undergone a vast amount of investment and have just secured a new contract for a very high-profile project; this is an exciting time to join this outstanding organisation.Your new roleAs the Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be reporting into the Engineering Manager and will be joining a large team of Engineers. You will be expected to use the ERP system to produce production plans and create material requisition forms. You will work alongside the Design Engineering team to conduct Design for Manufacturing plans to simplify the process for the Procurement and Supply Chain teams. In addition to this, you'll be expected to support the implementation of Lean processes.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in your application for the Manufacturing Engineer position, you must have proven working experience within a Fabrication manufacturing business. Ideally you'll have completed an apprenticeship within fabrication however this will not be crucial to the success of your application. In addition to this, you must have an understanding of NDT and welding processes.What you'll get in returnAs the Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be paid a generous salary of up to £36,000.
