This particular vacancy is a fantastic opportunity based on the North Island and while the role itself is challenging, it is also very rewarding. The manufactured products cover a wide and diverse range of products, including: -

  • Flashing

  • Ladders
  • Scaffolding
  • Louvres & Screens (for privacy and industrial purposes)

To be considered for this role, we require an Aluminium Fabrication Manager whose skills & experience includes but is not limited to: -

  • The ability to read drawings and plans and be able to produce factory work sheets and fabricate products as per drawings
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, knowledge of CAD and Revit, and other software programs that may from time to time be introduced
  • Completing quotes and producing products within typical company guidelines
  • Ability to assimilate technical information and communicate with other technical staff and industry professionals
  • Being a confident and competent Tradesman with the ability to nurture/mentor/train others
  • A focus on providing a quality service and excellence by producing high-quality products on time and on a consistent basis
  • A natural aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers
  • The ability to assimilate technical information and communicate with other technical staff and industry professionals

In addition, you will also need to have/be: -

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the aluminium/steel sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • 2 work references
  • A commitment to continuous improvement to ensure that quality and service delivery are both achieved in full, and on time
  • Fit to perform expected work tasks including regular heavy lifting.
  • A full, clean drivers’ licence
  • 100% commitment to Health & Safety
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
