This position can be based in multiple locations across the EMEA region. You will be working for the EMEA Energy Industrial Sales team, with a reporting line to a regional PM and local sales team. The aim of this role is to develop and build revenue of Wind related products. The role will involve a lot of customer and client interaction, technical visits, and the ability to identify and resolve problem is essential!
The company is a global leading partner for onshore and offshore wind, providing connectivity products and applications.
1. Build brand and portfolio. Focus on target markets and improving brand recognition.
2. EMEA travel is expected.
3. Improve customer experience, with target accounts to define market potential.
4. Identify and define new markets.
5. Build long term relationships with new and existing custmers.
4. Prepare value optimised solutions for customers using the Wind portfolio building blocks and PM resources.
5. Market Mapping: to ensure each country Wind representative gain a comprehensive understanding of their region/ country Wind market:
* Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field. Ideally Electrical Engineering but other fields will be considered.
* 5+ years of sales and/or technical(B2B) marketing experience in the Wind Energy Industry.
* Fluent English is required.
* Strong knowledge of Substation Business and experience in the Grid Connection.
* Previous training in medium-voltage components and materials technology
* Willingness to travel for business, including foreign travel and availability for communications in any time zone as needed.
