Area to be covered: National (ideally commutable to the North West)

Remuneration: £45,000 - £60,000neg (depending on experience) + uncapped commission

The role of the National Sales Manager - Shoring, Support & Piling Systems will involve:

  • National sales position selling a bespoke engineered excavation support systems including shoring solutions, bracing struts, ancillaries, piling systems, sheet piling, piles, trench sheets, box systems, bracing systems, concrete pipe equipment, tools and accessories
  • Will be heading up the capital sales division
  • Will be managing a team of 4 sales people as well as an internal sales function
  • Inheriting a capital sales division that currently turnover £8m
  • All of your time will be spent selling via piling contractors, groundwork contractors, civil contractors, civil engineers, utilities contractors, rail contractors, sub-contractors
  • Predominantly dealing with existing customers on a project by project basis utilising the exceptional design and engineering services of the company
  • Working closely with regional engineers, regional sales manager and support staff

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager - Shoring, Support & Piling Systems with:

  • Must have a proven track record selling piling systems, piles, sheet piling, shoring solutions, bracing struts, ancillaries, trench sheets, box systems, bracing systems, concrete pipe equipment, tools and accessories, excavation support systems, formwork, falsework, geotechnical and heavyside civil engineering systems
  • Would consider somebody working in a senior contracts manager, operations manager or project manager position with extensive product knowledge of shoring solution, sheeting piling systems / piles
  • Must have sold to piling contractors, groundwork contractors, civil contractors, civil engineers, utilities contractors, rail contractors, sub-contractors
  • Must have some sort of man-management or mentoring experience
  • Ideally be from a piling background whether it be for a manufacturer or contractor
  • Technically minded and able to understand drawings and deal with technical issues
  • On site experience and comfortable dealing with engineering teams and technical points of contact
  • Strong work ethic 'roll your sleeves up’ mentality
  • Keenness to learn companies products and systems
  • Enthusiastic, hungry and ambitious
